1. A deposit (cash or cheque) is required at the time of course booking. (Intensive courses £150.00, Taxi Course £50.00).
2. Full payment of course fee is required prior to commencement date. (Intensive Courses 28 days, Taxi course 14 days).
3. Confirmation of booking & receipt of payment will be forwarded on completion of booking, & final arrangements will be confirmed by telephone 3 days before commencement date.
4. If the course has to be cancelled by the driving school anytime prior to the commencement date a full refund will be given.
5. If the trainee cancels the course the following apply… a. The deposit will not be refunded b. It may be possible to refund the DSA test fee (dependant on time limitations, Intensive Courses only) c. Cancellation 3 weeks prior to commencement date…50% refund d. Cancellation 2 weeks prior to commencement date…25% refund e. Cancellation 1 weeks prior to commencement date…0% refund
6. The school will not be held responsible for cancellation of a test due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
7. An administration fee of £20 will be charged for every cheque that is returned for any reason.
8. A driving test Pass cannot be “guaranteed”, but we do guarantee that when we present you for test you will have reached the required standards of driving.
9. It is NOT our policy to present an inexperienced candidate for the DSA’s Provisional test “just for the experience” as this can have serious safety implications for the trainee, examiner & the general public. A trainee who is deemed by our professional Instructor NOT to have achieved the required standards will NOT be presented for test. The instructor’s decision in this matter is final.
10. In the event of a non-presentation, or of the candidate not passing the test, full support can be given with further hourly or intensive training by BDTC fully qualified instructors.
11. Valid, legal documentation is required at all times during training & test.
12. If, in the opinion of the instructor, there are any signs that the trainee is unfit to drive (alcohol/substance abuse, medication etc) or if the individual is abusive, offensive or unavailable during the period booked for training, the individual will lose training time, & this loss will not be extended to the booked period.
